Michael Katsimatides was born on January 8th, 1973. He was the baby of the family, the unexpected and wonderful "gift" from God who truly was gifted in so many ways. His brilliance, motivation, and competitive nature always shone through every action and every word. As an accountant for many prestigious accounting firms, Michael's love of numbers was always apparent. Equally obvious was his athletic ability and love of sports. If you spoke negatively of his beloved Yankees, he would respond with witty sarcasm and statistical debate.

Michael was a leader. Admired by many, throughout his life he served in top official positions of several ethnic and charitable organizations. His sense of humor and impeccable wit would always bring a smile to someone's face. Michael's charisma and fun-loving personality made a positive lasting impression on all who met him. John Katsimatides was born on September 5th, 1970. With many aliases in his life such as Johnny "Bodacious", Johnny "Cash", "Phantom", "Mafiozo" and "Greek" to name a few, he was the second oldest son in the family.

A tenacious, disciplined corporate bond trader at Cantor Fitzgerald by day, John shed the shackles when the market closed and, by night, reverted to the care-free, social dynamo that everyone knew him to be.

John had a flare for the outrageous. He was very cool and lived utterly in technicolor. His Jet Ski and Jeep were bright yellow and his Harley was baby blue. He would light up the room with his vibrant personality. Whether cruising the Astoria Park strip, having coffee with his friends or changing the oils in our cars, Johnny did it in a bold way. His passion for music and dance could not be surpassed. He was the first person on the dance floor and the last one off it. John walked to the beat of his own drum and always with rhythm in his step.

To top it off, under all that pizzaz, was a tender, loving human being who would always lend a hand to help others.

John's lively, endearing spirit will never be forgotten.
